Welcome
Welcome to Kauai’s animal care resource center. We are the only animal welfare organization that shelters, rescues, adopts and welcomes all animals -- all day and every day on Kauai!
Our community services include our pet spay/neuter and ID program, educating and enforcing Kauai’s animal laws, year round dog training classes, critter camp for kids, Freddie’s Off Leash dog park, private pet boarding, State approved quarantine services and more to promote harmony with animals on Kauai. Our team of 30 staff and hundreds of volunteers work daily towards our mission to promote the human-animal bond and ensure compassionate informed care for all of Kauai’s animals.
Kauai Humane Society was established in 1952 as a local nonprofit to protect Kauai’s animals and receives no funding from national animal groups or federal and state government. We need your support to continue our good work on Kauai. Please donate or shop at our Lihue thrift shop for the best deals in town. Or become a member and join hundreds of others to protect Kauai’s animals.
