Kauai Humane Society was incorporated in 1952 to protect Kauai’s animals and to promote the human - animal bond. We are an independent and private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and receive no funding from mainland humane organizations, the State or Federal government.

We need your support! Working together, we can create a community where every pet has a loving home, pets and people live in harmony and all animals are treated with respect.

Our work of love is dependent on the generous hearts and hands of our members and supporters. Please DONATE today and show your love of animals! 

Various types of membership opportunities are described below but all donations are appreciated.

Standard Annual Membership

$50 annual membership valid from January to December. With our standard annual membership, you will receive our quarterly newsletter, 10% off adoption, 10% Humane Education programs, 10% off retail and access to our pet boarding center which includes 1 FREE day of boarding. Constant Companions Monthly Membership

Constant Companions is our monthly giving program for gifts of $15 or more charged directly to your credit card. We promptly reply by an email to you with a written receipt and thank you note. It’s a convenient way to help and less paperwork means more support for the animals. As a Constant Companion, you will receive our quarterly newsletter, invitations to special events, programs and more. Plus, there is no need to renew your support each year. FAQs about Your Membership and Mailings

I prefer not to use my credit card. May I send a check or money order?

We will happily accept your donations in the form of check or money order. Please download our donation form and send with your payment to Kauai Humane Society, PO Box 3330, Lihue, HI 96766.

I have already renewed my membership so why do I continue to receive renewal notices?

Our mailing list may not have updated between the date your renewal gift was received and the date of our next renewal mailing. If you have already renewed your membership, consider giving your form to friend and ask them to join. Your renewal notice information will be updated within 4-6 weeks.

Why am I receiving multiple mailings to me at the same address?

We may have more than one member record for you in our database. Please email Becky Gagnon or call (808) 632-0610 ext. 108 and we will fix this problem.

How can I stop receiving your mailings?

If you’d like to be removed from our mailing list, please email Becky Gagnon or call (808) 632-0610 ext. 108 with your request. Please note that it may take 6-8 weeks for all mailings to cease.
