As part of the national Make A Difference Day, the Kauai Humane Society (KHS) launched a county-wide pet food bank called Gomez’ Galley. “When economic issues threaten a pet owner’s ability to continue caring for his or her companion animal, the Kauai Humane tries to help by offering a supply of pet food from our pet food bank. The pet food pantry is stocked with food that is donated by our supporters,” stated KHS Executive Director Penny E. Cistaro.
