Best Deals in Town! Love looking for hidden treasures? Or maybe you need an extra bake pan to try a new recipe with? Whether you are shopping for deals or needing to do some spring cleaning, please check out our Thrift Shop and help Kauai’s animals too! The Kauai Humane Society Thrift Shop, located across the street from McDonald's in Lihue town, is vital to funding many of the Society's programs and services for pets and people of Kauai. Just as important is the recycling of good condition clothes, household goods, books, etc., and making these items available to the general public for the best deal in town!

100% of our thrift shop goods are donated. We do not offer consignment or pay for any items we receive and then resell to the community. As a donor, it is another way you can support the critical services provided by the Society by donating your good condition household goods, clothing, books, tools, etc. Unfortunately, we do not offer pickup and delivery services but we do have a convenient location and business hours for drop off on your way to and from work. Kauai Humane Society employees include Renee Perreira, our shop manager and Rowena Farias and Jeffrey Ellamar, our shop clerks. Dozens of volunteers provide critical support to our staff which allows us to extend operating hours of the shop and maintain a clean and well organized shopping experience. Now, we also have a cat or two available for adoption right at the shop. This allows some of the shelter cats to show off their talents in another venue and also reminds customers and donors alike, how their support helps Kauai’s animals.
