Howdy Pardners,

Put on your paniolo boots and kick up your heels! You're invited to lasso your family and friends for Kauai Humane Society's 2010 fundraiser, Waggin' Tails, on May 15 at the Kauai Marriott.

This is our only fundraiser of the year and your support means help for critters including funding for pet adoption services and ensuring that we can save more animals on Kauai. You can be a part of our posse to help with a great cause, and support the extended members of our families -- cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, native seabirds and more.

Corral a herd of your friends and sponsor a table for 10 -- Palominos for $5,000 or Mustangs for $1,500. The deadline to be included in all publicity is April 1st, so cinch up the saddle and support our cause. Individual tickets will be available for $85.

We're also on the lookout for silent auction items such as new products or services, and gift certificates to promote your business. If you can't spare any business, maybe take a gallop around the house and see if you might have something to share for the animals. Auction-quality items such as art, antiques, jewelry, or other items are always welcome.

For silent auction donations, simply fill out the attached Donor Commitment Form and return a copy to us by mail or by fax. Or, if you prefer, I can email you the form and arrange for pickup of your donation. Deadline for silent auction items is April 15th.
